Save your weeks and see the change
Type your numbers above and press "Save this week." The table shows every saved week and how much the rate changed compared with the week before, in percentage points (pts).
If you leave it blank, we use today's date.
| Week | Impressions | Interactions | On impressions | Change | On followers | Change |
|---|
Only numbers and the week name are saved, up to 12 weeks. They stay in this browser, they are never sent anywhere and you can clear them anytime. The change shows only when both weeks use the same definition, with clicks or without clicks.
About this tool
How it works
- Enter the impressions and interactions of a post or a week.
- If you like, add your followers to see the second rate.
- Save the week to see how much the rate changes from the one before.
What it measures and what it doesn't
The calculator gives you a proportion: how many interactions there were for every hundred impressions or for every hundred followers. It does not tell you why the rate changed or whether the people who interacted are the ones you want. It does not compare you with anyone either, because no single benchmark fits every account.
It is only a number. In LinkedIn engagement metrics: why comment counts lie we go into why raw counts mislead, and LinkedIn reach analytics: where the deals come from looks at what to watch instead.

Frequently asked questions
How does this calculator work out the rate?
It adds reactions, comments, reposts and, if you leave it checked, clicks. That sum is divided by impressions and multiplied by 100. The second rate divides the same sum by your followers. This is the definition this calculator uses.
Why does my number not match another tool?
Each tool decides what counts as an interaction and what to divide by. LinkedIn analytics show their own figure, and this calculator includes clicks, which you can remove with the checkbox. Always compare using the same definition.
Which number should I look at besides the rate?
Total impressions say little. Look at how much of your reach landed with people outside your network, and at the conversations, calls and clients that come after. A ten-minute weekly log helps you see it. Source: LinkedIn reach analytics: where the deals come from.
Do you save my numbers?
We do not send them anywhere. The weekly log is kept only in your browser storage, up to 12 weeks, and you clear it with the Clear log button. We only measure, anonymously, whether you calculated with impressions, with followers or with both, never your numbers.
